Akademy is the annual conference of the KDE community and open to all who share an interest in the KDE community and its goals. This conference brings together artists, designers, programmers, translators, users, writers and other contributors to celebrate the achievements of the past year. Moreover, at Akademy visions for the next year are defined. We invite all contributors and users to participate in Akademy in Tallinn. Please check the Call for Papers for more information on topics and how to submit a talk.

This year, the KDE Community will be joined by contributors to the VideoLan and Tomahawk projects, and will have a focus on collaborating with the Qt community.

Akademy 2012 officially starts on Saturday, 30 June. If you arrive on Friday, 29 June during the day, you will be able to check in to the conference early. More information about pre-registration will be available soon.
