End Of 10 - Akademy Edition
Tired of corporations deciding how to use your computer?
Whether you’re an artist, designer, illustrator, gamer, or Pythonista, have you ever thought about trying independent software like Linux but don't know where to start?
At Akademy this year we are teaming up with the End of 10 campaign in organizing a large install event to introduce people to KDE software.
We will focus on installing Linux with KDE Plasma and KDE apps for new users an plan to use this moment for feedback, demands, suggestions, and features related to the KDE Goals initiative:
- Streamlined Application Development Experience goal focuses on improving the application development process by making it easier for developers to create KDE and third-party applications.
- We Care About Your Input aims at improving support of KDE's input device handling such as drawing tablets, gamer controllers and mice, and handhelds, etc...
- KDE Needs You! goal focuses on formalizing and enhancing recruitment processes, not just for individuals but also for institutions.
Join us on the 11 of September from 16:00 till 20:00 at TU-Berlin (room 3005).
Address: Technische Universität, Straße des 17. Juni 135, 10623 Berlin
